Coffee and Tea Exhibitors Make COTECA Europe’s Top Marketplace
COTECA 2016 the Coffee, Tea, and Cocoa Global Industry Expo is getting a tremendous response from around the globe, according to organizers of the 4th edition of the biennial event.
The leading players in the coffee, tea and cocoa industries already have booked exhibit space on the modern Hamburg Messe show floor for the Sept. 7-9 event.
This year COTECA is jointly produced with the Kaffee Campus of the German Roasters Guild and continues its partnership with the German Coffee Association, the German Cocoa Trade Association, and the German Tea Association.
Trade visitors will benefit from a strong supporting program with workshops, presentations, professional coffee cuppings, and unique opportunities to find out more about all aspects of coffee, from the art of roasting to barista certification, according to organizers Claudia Johannsen and Claudia Jeske.
The last edition drew 3,000 visitors of which 52% were foreign exhibitors representing 32 countries. An independent survey of attendees revealed 89% were able to get new business leads and 92% reached their most important targets.
Hamburg is proud of its coffee heritage as Europe’s centuries-old handling center for coffee, tea, and cocoa. The city’s historic “Speicherstadt” coffee warehouse district is headquarters of many of the big players throughout the world.
