HAMBURG, Germany
Kaffee Campus, the highly praised training program of the German Roasters Guild, will partner with COTECA (Coffee Tea and Cocoa/Global Industry Expo) to produce an extensive program of workshops, cuppings, and presentations at the Hamburg Messe Sept. 7-9, 2016.
“This partnership means a lot of synergies for our trade visitors – both in terms of what the exhibitors are presenting, and in the supporting program,” said Bernd Aufderheide, president and c.e.o. of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH. The two events will be held jointly at the exhibition hall of CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, which offers easy access for regional and international visitors.
“We are delighted at this cooperation,” said Klaus Langen, chairman of the German Roasters Guild. “We are currently putting together an exciting coffee program for the trade visitors. In addition, exchange and networking are naturally at the focus of this meeting, when the industry gets together in Hamburg.”
The Kaffee Campus is the showcase of the global coffee scene – with coffee producers, green coffee traders, importers, coffee shop operators, coffee roasters, baristas, machine manufacturers, caffeine freaks, and trend setters, and the coffee-specific conference program.
Exhibitors from 30+ nations will present their products and innovations at 200 stands at next year’s COTECA 2016, the biannual industry event in Hamburg. COTECA is the European meeting point for the global coffee, tea, and cocoa industry. In 2014 nearly half the COTECA visitors (46%) came from abroad. Organizers said that many market leaders use this international show to present their products and network with trade visitors on matters of importance to the industry.
