UGANDA
Coffee exports for a 12-month period ending Oct. 31, 2018, were down 10%, the Uganda Coffee Development Agency (UCDA) announced.
Exports totaled 4.27 million bags and were valued at $454 million, according to the UCDA report published on the Eagle Online Ugandan news analysis website.
The decline was attributed to lower global prices and lower production in the country’s Masaka and Southwestern regions compared to the previous year.
