Starbucks opened another roastery in late 2018, this time in New York City.
Starbucks Reserve Roastery New York swung open its doors Dec. 14 at 61 Ninth Avenue in the city’s Meatpacking District. The 23,000-square-foot space continues the themes established at the company’s other international roastery locations – specialty coffee, artisanal Italian baked goods plus coffee- and tea-infused cocktails – all served in a coffee-as-theater environment.
The new roastery, which showcases the coffee operations from bean to cup, employees 300 people, according to Starbucks.
