Modbar Rolls Out Steam
Modbar’s Steam
La Marzocco and espresso machine partner Modbar recently unveiled a new version of their Modbar Steam system. The device serves as a companion to Modbar’s Espresso AV under-counter espresso machine released in 2018.
“When we launched Espresso AV, we always wanted to pair it with the perfect steam tower. The new Steam system provides powerful dry steam while remaining simple and easy to use,” Modbar co-founder Aric Forbing said in a statement. “As always, working on this product with the full collaboration of the La Marzocco r&d department has been amazing, and we are very proud of this addition to our lineup.”
The Modbar Steam lever design matches the size, angle, and position of the Modbar AV, creating a more ergonomic workspace for espresso steam combinations. Other features on the new product include a vacuum-insulated double-walled steam wand that remains cools to the touch; omnidirectional ball fitting; and right-hand side connections for easy service access to the module.
