Swiss coffee equipment manufacturer Eversys is introducing its 1.5 step milk frothing system with a year-long series of competition at several tradeshows including European Coffee Expo in London, the World of Coffee in Berlin, HOST in Milan, and IGEHO in Switzerland.
The Cameo, equipped with a steam wand and optional milk arm uses micro air dosing and an electronic milk texturing system to dispense barista textured milk that enables contestants to focus on creating great latte art with minimal effort, according to the company.
Latte art contest judge and Australian champion barista Matt Perger says, “With the 1.5 step you have the ability to fill a milk pitcher from the bottom to the top by placing it under the steam arm empty and watching the pitcher magically filling it up with steamed milk that is perfectly textured for Latte Art.”
