Starbucks, by popular demand from Canadian customers, has made its coconut milk available there. First launched in U.S. Starbucks locations in February 2015, the vegan-certified Starbucks Single Origin Sumatra Coconut Milk is made from single-origin coconuts from the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
"We love to innovate and co-create with our partners and customers," says Kevin Reid, director of food and beverage at Starbucks Canada. "Our customers told us they want to be able to customize their Starbucks beverages with alternatives to dairy and soy milk – in fact it is the second-most popular request of all time on MyStarbucksIdea.com."
My Starbucks Idea was launched in 2008 as a way to engage with customers around the world and learn from them. The company encourages customers to submit ideas, which they can then vote for and rank.
