Dr. Mark Corey is the National Coffee Association’s new director for scientific affair and project management.
In announcing the newly created position March 7, NCA president and c.e.o. Bill Murray said, “The world of coffee science is more important – and yet more complex – than ever before, and we are delighted that Mark will be leading NCA’s work to guide the industry through these issues.”
Dr. Corey will oversee all science and regulatory matters for the association, supervise the NCA Scientific Advisory Group, and assist in developing member resources in the areas of food and worker safety, and coffee and health.
Dr. Corey previously served as director of research and development for Heartland Food Products Group. He also worked with Keurig Green Mountain, Inc.
