Dunkin’s Brands reported opening 405 net new domestic shops in 2014, making it one of the fastest growing QSR (quick service restaurants) in the U.S.
“This past year was another excellent year for domestic restaurant development and has resulted in Dunkin’ Brands, once again being one of the fastest growing companies by unit count in the QSR industry,” said Nigel Travis, chairman and c.e.o. The company introduced a new store design in 2013 and remodeled 482 locations last year as well as expanding into Southern California. “For 2015 in the U.S., we expect to open between 410 and 440 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants,” he said.
The long term goal is 17,000 stores in the U.S. including 1,000 California locations.
