Coffee equipment manufacturer Probat will host the inaugural specialty coffee symposium Re:co (Regarding: coffee) June 15 in conjunction with the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe's annual World of Coffee exhibition and conference, June 16-18.
"Leading industry professionals, scientists and renowned experts in the fields of sustainability, business and politics from around the world will address latest results in research and cutting-edge innovations in coffee, but also focus on strategic issues impacting the coffee industry," according to Probat.
During the symposium Probat director of product technology / R&D Thomas Koziorowski will present an analysis of coffee roasting focusing on new methods that achieve unprecedented precision analyzing the different physical and chemical changes that take place during the timeline of the roasting process. The program is titled: “Capabilities and results of online analysis on coffee roast machines." These revolutionary online techniques enable roasters to individually adjust the roasting process according to the pre-set recipe.
Probat will also exhibit at Stand C20 at the World of Coffee, where visitors can inform themselves about the Probat shop roaster portfolio. The Nordic World of Coffee 2015 is at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center, Gothenburg.
