Oregon Chai has launched two new flavors for the autumn. Right on trend, spiced chai adds an extra cinnamon kick to the traditional spiced black tea blend, and salted caramel chai adds the rich taste of caramel and vanilla bean with a hint of sea salt.
The company's products use all natural, organic ingredients as far as is possible and most of the chai concentrates are 90% organic. The blends allow catering outlets to deliver consistent, high quality hot and iced chai based beverages.
Oregon Chai was founded in 1991 by Tedde McMillen, her daughter Heather Howitt, Carla Powell, Brian Ross and Lori Spencer Woolfrey, who turned the concentrated chai mix into a household item in the US. The company was sold in 2004 for $75 million to Kerry Group, a giant Irish food company. Other concentrates include The Original, Slightly Sweet, Chai Vanilla, Sugar Free, and Caffeine Free.
