UNITED STATES
A food critic and blogger covering South Florida wrote earlier this year about “third wave” coffee seems to be finally catching there. Her stories on independent coffee shops and small-batch roasters name more than a dozen small businesses in an area already well-served by the likes of Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts.
From south to north, someone wanting to visit some of the new boutique roasteries could start with Warsaw Coffee Company and Calusa Coffee Roasters in Fort Lauderdale, then head inland to check out the Chosen Bean out of Coral Springs. About an hour north in Fort Lauderdale, a determined coffee drinker will find Subculture Coffee and Rabbit Roasting Company.
Warsaw Coffee Company is the newest of that group of businesses, having just opened in April. Like with many other small businesses getting started in 2015, the best way to stay up on what’s happening at Warsaw is to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
