Gordon Tredger recently joined Loring Smart Roast as its new company president. Tredger will oversee all aspects of the company, according to a Loring statement.
Tredger replaces Robert Austin, who retired from the post and joined the company's board of directors.
Tredger brings more than 30 years’ experience in finance, operation, and general management to the job. The Toronto native has held finance and management positions with a variety of companies including Motorola Canada, Photovac Incorporated, Perkin-Elmer, Argonaut Technologies, Varian, Inc., and Advanced Energy Industries, Inc.
Loring, based in Santa Rosa, Calif., designs and manufactures coffee roasting equipment.
“In his past experiences, Tredger has built an impressive track record of strategic, operational and commercial accomplishments,” said Carl Finwall, Loring’s chairman of the board. “The board unanimously agrees that his proven leadership experience, coupled with his strategic thinking and proven ability to deliver results, make him the right person to execute Loring’s strategic priorities and drive sustainable growth.”
