Brewer and espresso machine manufacturer Bravilor Bonamat in September opened a second manufacturing facility in Bialystok, Poland.
The expansion enables a greater range of products and increased production capability, according to the company. The Bialystok plant will produce plastic parts and sub-assemblies shipped to the main factory in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands.
The entire production process is performed in the Dutch facility, including the production of metal parts by welding, laser cutting, grinding, and forming, production of plastic parts by injection molding, and of course the entire assembly operation, according to the company. The new factory at Bialystok is equipped with five injection molding machines of various sizes, a number expected to double over time as the Bialystok plant will also undertake the production of high-end products for the domestic market in Poland.
Opening a second plant affords greater flexibility regarding the availability and quality of parts. “This is an important strategic development for Bravilor Bonamat in respect of the quality, continuity, and reliability of its products,” according to the company.
