La Spaziale enhances its technology for the convenience and safety of baristas in the new S40 Suprema.
The professional espresso machine, which entered into production in July 2015, is designed to deliver practicality and functionality for roasters, baristas and technicians, company officials say. It’s more accessible and easier to handle while continuing the aesthetics of the company’s popular S40 Seletron model.
The new machine, available with two to four groups, features electronic sensors for accurate extraction temperatures with each group, an electronic coffee grounds system to keep grounds humid inside the porta filter and a cup warmer for consistent cup temperature.
A display panel shows the barista the operating temperature for each extraction on each group. The stainless steel “cool touch” steam wand features thermal insulation, avoiding any burn risk both during milk steaming and cleaning.
Additional features include automatic dose setting, electronic boiler temperature control, boiler temperatures on led display, extraction time on LED display for each group, automatic temperature boost function, boiler water level controls, pre-set hot water delivery for infusions with adjustable temperature, group led lights and total coffee counters.
