FoamAroma, the Dallas company known for its innovative uniquely-engineered lids for take-away tea and coffee cups, announced in March that the lid is now being used at Martha Stewart’s first café inside her Starrett-Lehigh Building in New York.
FoamAroma’s founder and lid-designer Craig Bailey explained, “The idea for FoamAroma was inspired in 2007 by a very disappointing experience with my cappuccino on the go. I am thrilled that Martha Stewart thoughtfully chose the lid to deliver the ultimate drinking experience so her customers will be able to connect with the quality in the cup.”
A feature that makes the lid a perfect fit for Martha Stewart’s cup is that all FoamAroma lids are made in America, as are all the products featured on her program “American Made.” And, although designed with the foamy coffee drinks in mind, the lid has been a hit in London for outperforming any other lid on the market for take-away teas.
The ability to fully inhale the aroma of the carefully chosen artisanal teas and to slurp to avoid burning your mouth, also make the lid perfect for the loose-leaf teas served at the Martha Stewart Café. Teas on offer are from Connecticut-based Arogya Tea and include Martha's Breakfast Blend, a signature blend of Assam long leaf and Chinese black teas; Da Hong Pao, a legendary Oolong hand-rolled and roasted in China; and a nutty, subtly sweet Buckwheat infusion.
