The US League of Tea Growers (USLTG) has announced that it began recruiting new members in April this year.
There are a number of levels to meet membership needs, and by joining the League, new members help provide much needed funds to assist in the mission of the league. USLTG actively encourages the growing and production of high value specialty teas within the USA, promotes farmer collaboration, and encourages new growers. It represents tea farmers and their views with the US Tea Council and with the International Tea Committee. It also stimulates machinery and systems development by academia or commercial companies to enable high technology agronomy and harvesting and to produce best-method handbooks of proven practical advice on the growing, harvesting and processing of tea.
USLTG welcomes anyone with a tea farm, a backyard plot or a tea plant in a pot, or who shares a vision of Camellia tea being grown and made on North American soil.
