ACMA Hosts Tea Days for Global Suppliers
ACMA gear on display during 'Tea Days'
In May, Bologna-based ACMA hosted four days of demonstrations and discussions to enhance tea knowledge, sustainability, and innovation.
ACMA offers solutions and technologies for primary and secondary packaging, at the same time boasting a vast array of knowledge that encompasses the entire supply chain, from cultivation through to the distribution and consumption of the product. “Tea Days” focused on sustainable materials and practices attended by filter-paper suppliers Terranova and Glatfelter; Interfil, and Zwirnerei, which specialize in the production of tea bag threads; Polypack, which produces tags and envelopes; and Cartotecnica Naldi, whose core business is the manufacturing of cardboard boxes.
Technology partnerships with other Coesia companies encouraged sharing ideas such as Flexlink’s collaborative robots (cobots) to palletize tea and Atlantic Zeiser, specialists in digital printing. Attendees saw ACMA’s TM320 and as well as its TD300 and the TE500 series equipment used to make heat-sealed double chamber tea bags.
