Brew Tea Company, one of Britain’s trendiest tea businesses which started with funky tea bars on the high street in Liverpool has changed its business to wholesale-only at upsized headquarters relocated to Rainford, St. Helens, near Manchester.
Brew’s tagline is “Straight talking, no rubbish, just amazingly good tea, for folks with amazingly good taste.”
The company, founded by Phil Kirby, explains, “We began life in Liverpool. We stocked an amazing range of teas, but we were novices and no match for the High Street. We learned many lessons in our little shop. But through the highs and the lows, one thing was solid: we could make tea more amazing. In January 2012, we started up a wholesale-only business to do just that.”
The new warehouse will be used to store, blend and package tea products, which include loose leaf and bagged Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Moroccan Mint, Chai, Fruit Punch, Decaff, and tea accessories. The 6,392 sq. ft. space at Premier Park in Trafford Park is rented on a five-year lease from Lothbury Investment Management.
