El Club del Té
ARGENTINA
Victoria Bisogno has announced that El Club del Té, an international organization based in Buenos Aires and dedicated to the development and promotion of tea culture, is launching activities in 12 new cities.
Beginning in April courses and cuppings will be offered in Argentina (Puerto Madryn and Misiones), Chile (Santiago), Peru (Lima), Panama (Panama City), Brazil (São Paulo and Porto Alegre), and Spain (Madrid, A Coruña), and the Canary Islands.
The events will be organized and presented by a team of certified tea sommeliers from the club. These activities will be part of the events that Bisogno, founder and president of the tea club, has been organizing since the company was founded in 2009.
The first of the new activities will be a course entitled ‘An Introduction to Tea’, and this will explain the most important aspects of this ancient beverage, including its origins, tea producing regions, world tea ceremonies, and brewing methods. The events are scheduled to continue throughout the year with professional cuppings of teas from different producing countries, including China, Japan, and India.
