Devon-based Leane Bramhall, dedicated to helping consumers live their lives with more energy and vitality, has just launched Kineta, a luxury organic matcha tea brand designed to help coffee drinkers and caffeine addicts to discover a healthier alternative to increasing energy and focus.
Bramhall sources her top quality organic matcha from a family-owned Japanese tea farm in Nishio. The tea is sold in 30-gram tins, starting at $25.50 (£17.95). Matcha delivers antioxidants, amino acids, chlorophyll and other nutrients and vitamins to the body and can prevent cell damage, improve blood flow, lower cholesterol, stabilize sugar levels, boost focus and metabolism, and helps give sustained energy, according to Bramhall.
“More and more people are turning to matcha because it’s being associate with a clean energy hit,” she said. “This is a caffeinated product but matcha tea releases the caffeine slowly into the blood stream: so while with coffee, you get a high and a low, Matcha provides a sustained clean boost,” she said.
Matcha sales have grown 30% in the latest year with no signs of slowing. “We can see huge product innovation, and development opportunities for the Kineta brand. As a business we live by the motto ‘Life is short. Live it with Vitality’ and this product really epitomizes that," she said.
